New generation admixture for performance enhancement of high quality concrete
ADVA® 223 is a high performance, new generation mid-range water reducer based on comb polymer technology. This product is designed to enable the production of pervious concrete and is also suitable for application in high flow concrete or self-consolidating concrete.It is a ready-to-use liquid admixture with superior dispersing capacity for the cement particles in the concrete mix, imparting an enhanced paste rheology. ADVA 223 contains no added chloride. One litre weighs approximately 1.08kg ± 0.02kg.
ADVA 223 complies with the requirements of admixture specifications: SS 320: 1987. BS 5075: Part 3.
Addition rates of ADVA 223 can vary with type of application. Depending on the application, dosage rates can range from 400 to 1,500mL / 100kg of cementitious material. Please consult your local GCP representative for details.

Packaging and Storage
ADVA 223 is available in bulk and in 205L drums. ADVA 223 contains no flammable ingredients.
Compatibility with Other Admixtures
Most water reducers or water-reducing retarders are compatible with ADVA 223 as long as they are added separately to the concrete.
Caution should be exercised when using ADVA 223 with a retarder, as excessive retardation can occur if the admixture dosages are too high. Pre-testing of the concrete should be performed to optimise dosages and addition times of these admixtures. The admixtures should not be in contact with each other before they enter the concrete.
ADVA 223 is not compatible with DAREX® Super 20 and DARACEM® products.
