Product Description

WRDA® P119K is a ready-to-use aqueous solution of selected hydroxylated organic compounds. Ingredients are factory premixed in exact proportions to minimise handling, eliminate mistakes and guesswork.

WRDA P119K is formulated to comply with the following chemical admixture specification for concrete: SS 320:1987. ASTM C494 Type A and Type D; BS5075: Part 1.

One litre of WRDA P119K weighs approximately 1.10kg ± 0.02kg

Applications

WRDA P119K admixture retards the initial and final set of concrete throughout the recommended dosage range and provides better slump retention than normal retarding admixtures. WRDA P119K admixture also gives water reduction of typically 8 to 15% in the recommended dosage range.

WRDA P119K admixture is recommended for use in all concrete where extended setting time, superior workability and pumpability are desired in applications, for example, hot weather concreting application, or large volume concrete pours.

Compatibility with Other Admixtures

WRDA P119K admixture is compatible in concrete with all other GCP admixtures. WRDA P119K admixture can be used alone as a single admixture or in combination with other admixtures to achieve cost effective customised performance. If used in combination with other admixtures, each admixture should be added separately.

Addition Rates

WRDA P119K admixture has recommended dosage ranges of between 300 to 800mL / 100kg of cementitious materials. The amount to be used will depend on the extension of setting time required under the job conditions. Longer setting times or higher temperatures will require higher addition rates. Conversely, the addition rates will be lower for shorter extensions of time. Consult your local GCP representative for assistance in determining the dosage rate for optimum performance.

Packaging

WRDA P119K is available in bulk, in 205L drums and in 1,000L totes. It contains no flammable ingredients. WRDA P119K will freeze at about -2°C, but will return to full strength after thawing and thorough agitation.
